Covert Spy Camera hidden in a Screw

Covert spy cameras are gradually becoming cheaper and cheaper to buy, and are easily obtainable on eBay for around £20 to £80 (GBP). Many feature tiny pinhole lenses, and concealed in the most inconspicuous of items, such as clocks, teddy bears, pencil holders, PIR devices, smoke detectors, etc.
One of the more recent additions to the covert video cameras are the cameras concealed behind a screw head! They have a pinhole camera with a realistic metal ‘lens’, which means a spy camera can be hidden in plain sight, replacing an existing screw head in wood, metal, plastic, etc. Conceivably more suitable for industrial or office environments, where there might be more places to conceal such a device. These cameras are getting smaller and smaller, and therefore increasingly difficult to detect!
Active Spy Shop sell a covert wired video camera hidden in a screw that also has audio. They cost a little more than they do on eBay, but then you might prefer a good service if you hit problems setting up the device.

The best place to find a screw camera is on eBay. It’s also usually the cheapest place to find one. Typically the screw cameras are wired versions, but you can get wireless versions too.
On eBay, just search for “wireless screw camera” without the quotes. That will turn up a number of results, although usually from China/Hong Kong.
