Spy Ears Listening Device Toy

Known as “Spy Ear” or “Spy Ears”, these little toy devices are tiny but powerful audio amplifiers. They have a small sensitive electret microphone connected to a high-gain circuit which is then connected to a pair of earphones.

The amplification is considerably high, so you need to be careful you don’t damage your ears with this thing! You can hear whispers and conversations from quite a distance a way. The typically white earphones make it look like you’re listening to your ipod too, so it even has a covert use.

This device is far from being a professional listening device, but it really is a lot of fun. For less than $5 USD (around £3 in the UK), you can have a bit of fun without breaking the bank! You don’t have to look to far to find them either, since you can pick them up on eBay pretty much anywhere.
