Wireless USB PC Lock

Computers are so pervasive these days, the risk of losing sensitive data due to data theft is really high. In addition to firewalls and anti-virus software, you might also consider the physical security of your computer. The Wireless USB PC Lock is a great device that will automatically lock your computer as soon as you walk away from it!

The USB ‘receiver’ fits in the computers USB port, and then you carry a tiny and discrete ‘transmitter’ device. When the transmitter device moves 2 metres beyond the computer, the computer automatically locks the screen in software. When you approach the computer, it will automatically unlock again (or you can type in a password).

I can see that this device would be very useful if you typically forget to lock your workstation at your place of work. You could probably attach the transmitter to your keys aswell, as you’re less likely to forget them!
