Hidden Spy Camera in Computer Speakers

Hiding a camera inside computer speakers, this is a great idea. You can check on your employees to make sure that they are working hard (or not!). You’ll probably get a great view of them on the phone, picking their nose, doing their nails, making odd faces at the computer when it screws something up. I can imagine that would be a lot of fun!

On a more serious note, computer speakers can be placed inside an office very inconspicuously, but still be in an ideal position to record a huge amount of what goes on within the office. These days, data theft is a huge issue. With these speakers and a DVR system, you could record what employees are doing something they shouldn’t.

The speaks come in wired and wireless camera versions, and are not too expensive for a very covert style of camera. It’s a shame that they’re NTSC cameras (being a Brit and wanting PAL), but they are still well designed units.

Im curious to know if people who buy these spy gadgets have ever bee spied on?

Is it an act of revenge, perversion? or simply people who loath their own life’s so much, that this is the only way to retaliate and get their rocks off.
    Sad….
If your partner isn’t going to let you take nudity shots, and you have to invade their privacy buy using a spy camera-well maybe you should first consider getting an education or going to the gym or working on your personality or simply asking?

At least this way you’ll get Hi res, and something a little more interesting than 8bit ghosts..

    Can someone say Loser…

There are many dubious uses for these kinds of gadgets. There are also legitimate uses for this stuff, particularly personal and asset security. But you’re right, the number of people who fall into the perversion category is high.

This can happen to any of us.

I’M not sure of the laws in the USA, but in Canada it seems to be a violation of human rights.

I understand if you’re a primary care giver (which I was) and if you suspect someone is abusing a patient.

But where do we draw the line?

I agree with you, people will abuse these technologies.

You know, When my daughter starts to date, should I be paranoid that her ‘unsuspecting boyfriend’ might be bugging his room with video surveillance? I don’t want my daughter images showing up on some site.

People move to the USA for reasons of human rights viloations and here we are as a nation saying ‘bring on the KGB’.

I think employers should have visible cameras if they need too, but to hide them, in my opinion is a complete violation of privacy and creepy, even if Im doing nothing wrong.

But like any hot topic there are arguments on both sides.

I wouldn’t be surprised if oneday, there is a site debuting “hidden cameras at the work” something like you tube…Hope not. This could happen, people who typically do survalience work have been found ‘sharing’ collected material.

It happens to banks, people identities are stolen and distributed so why not hidden surveillance footage.

    Take Care
