On a slightly different note for this article is someone being prosecuted for voyeurism in the UK. Admittedly it’s a strange topic to bring up on a spy blog, but it’s something that frequently happens as a result of misusing spy cameras and other surveillance equipment.

I’m sure you’ve heard of peeping toms, and dirty pervs. Well, technology makes it easier for these individuals to spy on their unsuspecting victims, also making it more difficult to catch the perpetrators. Wireless cameras are incredibly cheap and easy to obtain, so it doesn’t take much effort to hide one for the sole purpose of watching vulnerable victims.

My point with this post is to highlight the darker side of spy gadgets, and that really, misusing the techology will get you caught.

It does sound a bit off but, hey, things like these exist and if somebody won’t bring it up, then who will? That’s another downside to using a wireless security camera but that’s just one compared to countless other advantages.

It’s just sad somebody is using it for his own sick viewing pleasure, but then again that person will always find another wicked way to do it even without the wireless security camera.
