PenCam - Covert Wireless Video Camera in a Pen

The camera manufacturer Swann make a number of CCTV cameras products, such as this spy cam, this motion sensitive camera, and this all-in-one video recording unit. It quickly becomes apparent that Swann are specialists in all kinds of covert spy cameras.
Swann have had this very cool (and sadly very expensive) wireless spy camera hidden in a pen! The camera uses a number of tiny GPA76 batteries to conceal the power supply within the pen. This means that the pen is completely wireless! Since the batteries are so small, they do not last very long. However, there is a slightly less covert alternative that allows you to run from a larger battery (which appears to be a PP3 battery).
The pen is fully working, and therefore looks completely benign when placed in a shirt or jacket pocket. With a range of 30m indoors, or about 100m outdoors, it matches most other wireless cameras when it comes to performance.
As far as spy cameras go, £300 is expensive. However, for the ultimate in covert cameras, it really is not that bad. If you’ve got one, I’d love to know your thoughts and feedback…
