Inductive Earpiece

BBC News have recently reported that a Canadian company called Examear is targeting students with marketing to cheat in exams with a covert earpiece. The covert earpiece is designed to work with MP3 players and mobile phones. Since the devices are so small, it becomes exceptionally difficult for exam invigilators to detect them.

I’ve reported on covert earpieces before, but this is the first time that I’ve seen earpieces targeted so directly at a market group. I remember how difficult exams were for me (it wasn’t that long ago I sat them), but cheating really does discredit the whole point of exams!
