Biometric Thumbprint Flash Drive

USB Flash Drives are fast becoming popular replacements for floppy disks these days. USB flash drives are faster, more reliable, larger in capacity and much easier to use. It’s often the case for a new PC to be sold without a floppy disk drive now too. A flash drive is very much a personal gadget, as you usually only have one and carry it around with you. If you have personal data on that flash drive, then it’s important to be able to protect that data. Where is where the Biometric Thumbprint USB Flash Drive comes in handy.

The Biometric Thumbprint USB Flash Drive is only 19g in weight and only 85 mm x 27 mm x 13mm in size, so its no different in size to any other USB flash drive. However, it comes with a great utility that prevents access to your personal files, and needs your thumbprint to provide that access. The best bit is that the thumbprint scanner is moulded into the flash drive itself.

If you manage to get your fingers chopped off, the device does have a backup password option so that you can still access your files by using a normal password. So you’d better hope that you don’t forget your password and lose your fingers!

    Hi there,

I read this through my news aggregator and noticed that the email provided for copyright infringements appears to be wrong.
