Car Safe for Valuable and Laptop Computers

As gadgets become more pervasive and cheaper to buy, the more likely we are to be carrying the gadgets around with us. Sometimes its just not convenient to have everything on our person, and so we can store valuables in the car. However, if the valuables can be seen, the risk of theft from the car is still high. That’s where Car Safe gadgets come in.
The Car Safe uses a high strength security cable wrapped around a part of the car that’s fixed to the chassis. The usage photo (shown below) shows this being used under the passenger seat, which I think is a really silly place to put it. A thief will see the safe and immediately think that there’s something worth stealing in the box. Otherwise there’d be no point installing a safe!
I think that the best place for the safe is in the boot (trunk to our US friends) of the car. If a thief manages to get into the car, they’ve still got the safe to deal with. The safes do use a padded lining, with high strength locks and panels. You can even get a safe more suited to a laptop, which has a large flat base.
