Jamming Spy Camera Transmitters

I don’t need to tell you how common spy cameras are these days, and costing only £30 delivered on eBay, its no surprise! When it comes to transmitting spy cameras, because they use an RF signal, you can use a jammer to stop the receiver picking up the video signal. If you’ve got a spare $400, I’ve found a jammer that can swamp RF signals from spy cameras, Bluetooth devices and WiFi networks.
The Camera and WiFi jammer transmits on three frequencies, namely on 900MHz, 1.2GHz, and 2.4GHz. The vast majority of wireless cameras transmit on 1.2GHz, and 2.4GHz, and both Bluetooth and wireless networks use 2.4GHz. The jammer transmits 300mW of noise on each band which knocks out cameras and networks within a 10 metre radius.
The jammer uses a Ni-MH battery pack and works for about 45 minutes on a single charge. This is because the high power output of the jammer uses up the battery power quickly. You might be able to get an external power supply for the jammer, but that negates the advantage of its portable size. The unit (excluding aerials) is only 110mm x 62mm x 30mm in size, which is roughly the size of a packet of cigarettes.
Sadly these jammers are illegal in the UK, but they’re legal in many US states. If you’re going to get yourself one, remember that they can be illegal to own as well as use. Just check your countries legal viewpoint first!

hi Dan, its me again. I just would like to know what is the website where you reviewed this counter surveillance gadjet.
I hope you don’t mind, but can you include the website where you reviewed these products. Thanks.

Hi Dennis,
I *always* include a link to the site I find the product. If you look at the post above, you can see the link to the product using the words “Camera and WiFi jammer” (linking to http://www.kumaar.com/Jammers/.....ammer.html). This is a standard technique to link to a product using the name of it in the text.
Kind Regards
Dan
