Russian Major jailed for spying for Poland

A Russian military major, Major Sergei Yurenya, has been sentenced to seven years in prison for passing on secrets to Poland. Major Yurenya was selling intelligence on millitary units in central Russia, particularly with staffing levels and movements of military personnel. The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) had discovered that Major Sergei had been recruited in about 2005 to 2006. This episode seems to be a symptom of tense relations between Poland and Russia.
