Water Purifying Device

We know that some people are quite weary of drinking water from certain places because of concerns that it may not be pure. Well, this new device will not only check for its purity but it will actually purify it if it isn’t.
It does this by a process of disinfection by neutralising any chemical that might exist in the water. The disinfection is carried out by producing a beam of Ultraviolet light that kills the bacteria present in the water.
The device known as SteriPen comes with an LCD screen displaying when the job has been successfully completed so its ready to drink. Because of possible dangers of Ultraviolet light, the device only works when in water so it cannot harm a person.
It will be great for outdoor activities where some people like to immerse themselves with nature and drink water from nearby sources such as a stream, or perhaps on a holiday to a foreign country when they can’t be sure the water is clean.
In order for it to work properly, the water need to be clean looking in the first place to ensure the light can penetrate properly, and the device needs to be swirled properly as well.
This SteriPen will be available from next month from REI, but there are few different alternatives that already available but do a slightly different job.
