A Bat Plane to Help Military with Reconnaissance

A model plane based on a bat called COM-BAT is being developed by University of Michigan, and funded by the US Military, could help troops in the battlefield with essential information relayed to them by radio.
The plane will be fitted with various miniature cameras, sensors and detectors to provide vital images, sounds as well as smells. The onboard cameras will probably be used to take images of enemy instillations and other vital hotspots. The plane itself will be only 6 inches long.
