Also, unlike most other personal tracking devices, this has excellent battery conservation and can last up to 30 days on a single charge, whereas other similar devices typicaly run for about a week. The device is designed in a flexible way that it can be fitted on to any item of clothing.

The child locator device is ideal for those who are concerned about the safety of their children and/or pets. It’s a little piece of mind for an affordable price. There is also a counter argument that tracking devices such as these restricts a child’s freedom and only serve to ease fears of parents that are overly paranoid.

Inosat will also release a version that locates pets. If you’re a pet owner, you’ve probably experienced all of the frustration and uncertainty that comes with having a pet that runs away. Or if you have children and have seen all of the stories on the news about child abductions, you’ve probably felt quite scared about that as well. Inosat, a company that has been around since 2000, attempts to solve both these potential problems with their Inosat Pet Locator. The product will is due for release shortly.

The Pet Locator, weighing less than 200g, is a small, yet durable device that can be put on the pet’s collar or anywhere else on its body without making the pet feel uncomfortable. No matter where the pet goes, you will know their exact location, thanks to the GSM modem that comes on both the Pet Locator and Child Locator and the worldwide GPS coverage. Even if your pet goes out of the country (unlikely, but possible), you’ll still be able to see a rough map of where they’re at, which can provide you with an invaluable tool to find missing pets.
