Xerox Erasable Paper

Xerox’s Palo Alto Research Center recently introduced a new printer paper that’s ideal for anyone wishing to leave no trace of something they have written or use the same paper over and over again, great for the environmentally conscious that wish to save trees. This unique printer paper is self-erasing! Yes, you heard right! Whatever is printed on the paper will virtually disappear in 24 hours.

Xerox’s paper
known as intelligent redaction paper is covered with an ultraviolet sensitive material, which means that the text printed onto the paper is placed there by light beams instead of ink toner. The light creates black spots on the paper to make the words appear, however, these spots disappear magically after a short 24 hours.

No matter why you make need this type of reusable paper, it is an awesome idea. The paper itself can be used 100 times, which can really save a tree while also keeping your secrets from hanging around until you shred or burn the paper. After about 100 uses, the coating will begin to fade. Xerox estimates that 40% of all papers are viewed only once after printing which makes the paper an environmental benefit as well.
