Living the spy dream, dodging speeding tickets, or speeding away from a bank robbery will not be a problem for Chinese drivers if they wish to spend a mere 800 yuan to 1600 yuan, equivalent to $115 to $230 in US dollars.
The unique machines that will aid speeding drivers to get away quickly by switching the numbers on licence plates in just a few seconds. The higher priced ones will actually change the numbers in about 3 seconds.
At one time in South China, speeding drivers would cover up their license plates or use fake ones to get away with speeding, however, with this new innovative plate all you have to do is flip the numbers remotely.
Xinhua news agency reported in April that China had confiscated thousands of fake license plates that were being used by citizens who were posing as members of the People’s Liberation Army. Many of these fake plates were being used to transport bootleg items. Today, there is no need for fake plates in South China as all they will have to do now is flip the numbers and speed away safe and sound. Of course, they do so at their own risk because, as most of us are aware, China doesn’t deal lightly with anyone that breaks its law.
