PC Tracker Lock

There are times when you need to share a computer but would like certain files and programmes made inaccessible in order to keep others out of those areas? Well, the PC tracker lock can be used for locking such items as files, folders, and even applications.
With this lock, the only way in which to open the items is with the key. The holder of the key will be in control of what is allowed to be seen by whom.
The PC tracker lock is a multipurpose USB security device that is easy to use and is foldable. Along with locking specific items, it can also set limits on Internet usage, making it ideal for parents that wish to monitor their child’s time online. Not only will you be able to set the surf time, but the PC tracker lock also records all PC activity such as which files were opens, what websites were visited, and what videos or pictures were viewed. With this knowledge you will know exactly where other using your computer went and what they were doing.
It can also be used to monitor and track of what your employees or family members are doing while online. The best way to protect your children is by monitoring their activities while online. The PC tracker must be attached when the tracking is done, so its size is a bit of an impediment if the tracking is to be done secretly.
I would recommend this stick more for locking certain parts of your system (programmes) than solely tracking as there are more suitable products for that purpose such as this keylogger. I think where the PC tracker is invaluable is if you have children in the home that you would like to restrict from using certain applications and perhaps even do some light monitoring. Anyone considering serious tracking of online activity for any purpose, you may prefer a more invisible means of computer surveillance.
All in all, I think it is ideal in a family home where children use the computer frequently.

I agree, using the USB stick as a key for ‘unlocking’ parts of the system or the surveillance software would be a good way to avoid normal computer users being able to circumvent the locking. It’s fairly easy to get tracking/locking software anyway, so I can’t see the need for this usb key as it stands.
