Calculator With Hidden Camera

Chinavision has come up with some weird but also some very useful spy gadgets over the years. One of their latest offering is a calculator that also hides a camera.

The calculator itself looks like a very normal robust type that you might find in a home or an office desk, so it should not arouse any supicion of it being anything other than a normal calculator. A camera like this can be useful in situations like interviews or a meeting of some sort where secret recording might be handy.

With a very limited audio recording range, the calculator needs to be placed very close to the target source of any recording for any sounds to be picked up. However, as for the video, the camera is colour and should deliver pretty good picture quality.

My biggest complaint about this is the rather in-your-face hole on the side where the camera lens points out. Although its quite small, it does not look normal because you don’t come across one on a regular everyday calculator. Having said that, no one is likely to be any the wiser even if they see it.
