GPS Homing Device – Find Your Way Back to a Location
Hammacher has come up with a GPS homing device (locator) you can carry around wherever you go. The portable GPS locator is so small that you can actually attach it to a key ring or drop it in your pocket. Once you wish to mark a spot, just one click of a button will mark the location so you can easily find your way back.
You can mark your starting point along with two other destinations. The simplicity is so simple a child could use it. One button is the power button and the other is for setting the destinations.
Take this homing device along on your hunting trips, spying on someone, or in the huge mall parking lot to help you find your car after all that shopping. The advanced GPS receiver chipset is so accurate, a matter of fact within five yards.
For kids, this would be a great device for them to carry along when they are out and about as the easy to read red arrow will guide them back home, especially when they might go to an unfamiliar territory, so this might be an ideal present to a child from a parent. The hunter will never have to try to remember which way is north; if moss grows on which side of the tree, or any other trick to find their truck after they kill their prey.
Simplicity is the main draw of this; it is more simple to use than the Loc8tor, a similar type of homing device we reviewed a while back.
