Women Snooping on Their Partners

Here is something that shouldn’t really surprise us – according to this survey from Virgin Media, women are instigating greater level of snooping when it comes to spying on the activity of their partners than vice versa.

The most prevalant form of spying is done through monitoring the use of their partner’s computer activity, in most cases it is done by going through the history of their computer activity such as looking at web sites and pages they may have viewed and searching them on various social networks they may have presence on. Today, it is also possible to use computer monitoring software which can be covertly deployed to monitor a computer which then sends screen captures of sites and instant messaging logs as well other activity to a remote computer that can be accessed through a designated account.

Computer activity is not the only form of monitoring they are doing, some are employing sound recorders, covert cameras, in a more wide-ranging ways to try and spy on what their other half might be getting up to.

But there are of course ways to counter surveillance. There are now a myriad of gadgetry available that can be used to counter various forms of surveillance. This blog has covered a few of them and will do so anytime new ones are available.
