The USB Cable Transmitter

It looks just like any other cable which can be plugged into a USB port for any kind of hardware connection. But this USB cable is also a UHF transmitter, so it does double duty.

Connect this cable to a personal computer or laptop, and you can listen to anything that goes on within a 200-500 meters range, depending whether you are indoors or outdoors, thanks to its super sensitive microphone. The sounds/conversations are transmitted to a distant receiver with crystal clear sound.

It has automatic gain control which permits it to hear whispers as far as 40 feet away from the transmitter. As it is a USB cable, it draws its power from the computer – you don’t need another power source. It is 6 feet long and works on 433-434 megahertz, which can be changed if you want any other specifications.

This disguised transmitter works on USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 interfaces. I must say this is one of the most covert pieces of spy gadgetry. One, the USB cable looks just like any other and no one would really suspect a USB cable of being a sound recorder; secondly, there have been spy gadgets in the form of a computer mouse and other computer equipments for some time, but not really an USB cable, so that in itself is very novel, making it more covert for that reason.

Note: I am currently running a competition to win a free spy gadget up to the value of $80 (Approximately $110). You can enter here.

One of the reasons I don’t always mention the price in all the posts is because I usually link to the product page itself where people can go and find the price and possibly may wish to purchase. However, I do mention it in some of the posts even though I am linking to the product page. Also, another point to make is that sometimes the product in question is available from various sources and prices can vary, so it might be beneficial to look around an not simply buy from the linked page in order to get some savings.

The USB cable does work as normal besides its listening features.
