The Snake Camera

This camera is unique in that it can be bent and go around small places, hard to reach areas, small places and still function well. Called a snake, it has the snake’s ability and flexibility to move. Apart from the ability to take pictures, this camera is great for use by utility people, handymen, inspectors and of course the crime fighters, SWAT teams and the military as they can see into small places before entering.
It can be used in air vents, ducts, pipes, go through small passages or a hole in a door or window, and the camera can see up to a distance of 8 feet. It can be attached to a hand held monitor for viewing purposes. It works both on batteries and electricity, depending on the need.
The length of the camera is 42” and so it is long enough to have ample reach. The snake camera can go into places a human being can’t and allow you to see whatever you need to see before doing anything. It can work on one nine volt battery, 8 AA batteries or a rechargeable battery pack for outdoor use. While this model is available in black and white, you can also get a colour model.
This snake camera is not really a spy gadget in the sense that it may be used for hidden surveillance because its not really covert in nature, although that is mentioned as one of its uses, it is more a safety device to inspect hard to see places by handymen. For example, one use would be for builders to inspect for wiring, pipes before commencing work so as not to put themselves in danger or cause a leak for instance.

I wonder if what they sai is true about IP video technology and that it will greatly reduce the number of video displays required to monitor large scale systems, the number of personnel required to monitor the displays, and the server or recorder capacities needed to record all pertinent action in real-time at full frame rates. These are all contributing factors to further reducing the total cost of ownership for networked systems and incentives to deploy IP-based systems setups. Is this an IP megapixel camera like the ones I see advertised on other websites?
