If you live in a house whether it is in an isolated area or not, the security aspect is of vital importance whether you live alone or with your family. Even in so-called safe neighbourhoods it is always better to have a good security system in place. A house with land around it is all the more vulnerable.
This perimeter protection system has eight monitoring sensors which are controlled by a single base station. Each sensor can monitor up to 35 meters in a straight line at a designated height. It works on infra red technology and can work for six months on 1 x PP3 (9V) battery.
The wireless base station has eight LED displays which will also emit an audio alarm in case the perimeter is breached and indicate where. The whole system is waterproof and is especially useful for short term high level security protection, though it can be used for general protection purposes as well.
Its a bit like having a fence around your house but without the actual fence going around it. This can provide protection but also cause some mayhem if you are going to have trespassers walking by regularly with the detector constantly going off, so it is probably more ideal for isolated homes where you rarely expect people to walk toward or very close by your home.
