Sometimes pen and paper are best to use – after all the written word endures though stuff that is written digitally may disappear due to failed or defective material. Disks, pen drives, microchips and other technologically advanced products sometimes do stop working for no reason.

And at times it just makes sense to write with pen and paper; it is fast and easy. But what happens if you don’t want anybody to read what you have written? Perhaps you are a covert operative passing on instructions. Perhaps you have a business plan which you don’t want others to read. Perhaps you have a secret blueprint that you don’t want to get into the wrong hands. Perhaps you have details of passwords, bank account information or other sensitive data which you want to keep safe from others, but accessible to you.

You can then use this reappearing ink pen. The Mossad Reappearing Ink Pen writes on white paper and uses gel ink so you don’t need to use pressure while writing, so there will no writing indentations either.

And you apply heat to your writing and the writing will disappear leaving what looks like a blank sheet of paper. When you apply cold to the paper, the ink will appear again and this is not just a one off process – you can do this with the same paper again and again. The temperatures are 150°F for heating (you can use a hair dryer) and 15°F for cold (the freezer is a good place) and both appliances are available in homes and hotels!
