Home spying with a Hairdryer, Plant and Coffee Mug

Coffee Mug Spy Camera

It’s no secret that spy cameras are everywhere, and this is perfectly demonstrated with covert cameras hidden in a coffee mug, household plant and a hairdryer!

The coffee mug camera has got to be the ugliest mug that I’ve ever seen! (heh, am sure there’s a good joke here!) Interestingly the mug camera uses 8xAA batteries to power the camera transmitter, giving it an impressive 12 hours of transmitting time. However, that would make for a very heavy mug! However, it would be a perfect office pen and pencil holder, allowing it to be used for office spying without attracting much attention.

CCTV with TFT Review

It’s not that often that I get a little excited about a CCTV kit, but for some reason I really like those portable TFT screens that seem to be everywhere these days. This inexpensive Colour CCTV Monitoring Kit features an external CCTV camera and 7 inch TFT screen that’s packed with features.

Spy cameras smaller than your fingertip

Tiny VGA Camera Review

Not just one tiny spy camera for you today, but two! A Korean company has produced the world’s smallest VGA camera module, measuring a tiny 5.5 mm x 5.5mm and just 2.9 mm thick. It’s rather amusing that the camera adaptor is larger than the camera itself! These are cameras used for mobile phones, but could easily be concealed within other gadgets for spy purposes. That said, the electronics and batteries would quickly swamp the tiny camera.

World’s Smallest Hi-Resolution Spy Camera Recorder

Tiny Spy Camera Recorder Review

I’ve reviewed really tiny spy cameras in the past, but how about a tiny video camera with a real-time digital video recorder built in? It’s so small, it can fit into a standard pack of chewing gum! It’s roughly the size and weight of a standard disposable cigarette lighter, therefore exceptionally simple to conceal.

Jamming Spy Camera Transmitters

Spy Camera Jammer Review

I don’t need to tell you how common spy cameras are these days, and costing only £30 delivered on eBay, its no surprise! When it comes to transmitting spy cameras, because they use an RF signal, you can use a jammer to stop the receiver picking up the video signal. If you’ve got a spare $400, I’ve found a jammer that can swamp RF signals from spy cameras, Bluetooth devices and WiFi networks.

Spy Camera hidden in a Cordless Phone

Wireless Camera Hidden in a Cordless Phone

Hidden cameras really are getting everywhere these days. However, I’m starting to see that they are making their way into more household gadgets, which makes them less detectable and more useful. This camera hidden in a cordless phone is a prime example of a camera that could be placed in plain sight, such as in a lounge or main living area.
