CCTVMobile: Video Surveillance Directly to Your Mobile Phone

Video surveillance systems such as Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) can be a powerful resource to have at your disposal. The ability to fully monitor and record a designated area through a series of cameras and a control system can provide you with a significant amount of flexibility. That is of course, if you are able to get in front of the monitoring unit to view what's happening live or have the time spend viewing the recordings that your CCTV has made.

More advanced CCTV systems allow the user to either log in through their computer and view the live video or recordings. While this is definitely an improvement, accessing a WiFi point or using a mobile network to connect with your laptop is not exactly the most discrete option available. Plus, you'll still have to dedicate the same amount of time to monitoring it or reviewing the video.

If you are prone to forgetting where you left things, then a new device developed in Japan might be quite handy as it promises to locate things without the need to search for them.

In essence, its an object recognition device that can identify objects within seconds when looked into through the glasses. The camera that’s attached to the goggles constantly records what is being seen. When a wearer looks at an object the device will store into its ‘memory bank’ by filming it.

OK. The title might be a little misleading in that, although it can see through clothes, its not able to see a person’s flesh but can detect metallic as well as non-metallic objects such as weapons and explosives that are hidden under clothing even from as far as 80 feet away.
