At the moment there are still doubts lingering as to how safe stun guns really are as a way to incapacitate an individual safely either as a way to restrain (in policing) or even as self-defence, for which more and more stun guns are now sold.

This mini stun may be small in size but the power of the shock ranging from 350,000 to 950,000 volts - depending on the model - is capable of felling anyone off their feet.

This is a fun gadget, which hides a stun gun in this rather fake-looking Nokia-shaped mobile phone. The phone does not work as a normal phone at all, but looks similar enough that no-one should give it a second glance. It packs a powerful 800,000 Volt electric shock, which should knock any attacker off their feet.

The Kubotan is a self-defense tool designed by a Japanese man by the name of Takayuki Kubota. It was developed as a self-defense device (I’m intentionally avoiding the word weapon) for use by police officers in Japan, often for riot control. You can learn the basics of using a Kubotan very quickly, and do not need to be an expert martial artist to use one.
