Monitoring Other Party’s Coversations While the Phone Is On Hold

This innocuous looking box when attached to your phone is an innovative gizmo which can monitor the other party’s conversations. Say you are talking to somebody on the phone, but want to know what he is discussing with other people in the room. If the gadget is attached to your phone, you put the person on hold. This hold is not real, but the person thinks it is.

This device known as Teleport 2 can generate a log of all your calls and record it on your PC. Furthermore, it also records the actual calls in audio form. This telephone number logger highlights a very different aspect of surveillance. Rather than listening to the calls themselves, this very small devices will log up to 2000 incoming and outgoing telephone numbers. The incoming telephone numbers are only recorded if a Caller ID service is available on the telephone line.
